On September 13-14 2019, SCOGA USA chapter held her first Alumni reunion at Apa Hotel Woodbridge, 120 Wood Avenue South, Iselin NJ 08830. It was an occasion to behold, lots of funfair, hugs and emotions running wild. Old students meeting again after decades, with their families in toe to behold this special occasion. It was indeed memorable.
The first day September 13, 2019 was the disco night and trust me, I never knew these ladies still have what it takes. They danced to old school, sweating profusely like they were teenagers, then moved to contemporary music and later African beats. Yours truly was right on the button digging it seriously.
Among all things, we were simply grateful to be alive to witness the memorable occasion and as you would see, pictures don’t lie

September 14, 2019 was the main event. The day started with our visit to Edison State Park in the morning, later had our fund raising in support of our project to improve the structures and dilapidated buildings in our school, to support our Girl-Child project and to erect a perimeter fence along the school border in order to protect our girls within the hostel. Sumptuous dinner was served thereafter.
With the support of our able Chairman Chief Rotimi Ibidapo, ChairLady Chief Mrs. Ogunla & spouse, Dr. Jimi Adetula, Dr. Lai Olagbegi, Dr. & Mrs Bosede Kareem, Barr. Banji Alabi, SCOGANs from Nigeria, Canada and UK and all other important friends, dignitaries too numerous to count, and well wishers present. It was indeed a fruitful launching. Everyone made the event unparalleled.
